We are excited to announce the call for nominations for the 2023 CACS Sustainability Awards.
To formally recognize contributions of those helping the campus to meet its sustainability goals, the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability (CACS) annually provides awards to faculty, staff, and students (both undergraduate or graduate) in recognition of their hard work making Berkeley a more sustainable place to work, live, and play. Nominations can be made for groups, projects, or individuals. Awardees will be announced at the annual CACS Sustainability Summit on May 1st.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Friday, April 7th, 5:00pm PT
Nominees will be evaluated on how well they have met the goals set forth in the Charter of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Sustainability and the priorities of the committee, including addressing positive impact on environmental justice:

-
Engage the campus in an ongoing dialogue about reaching environmental sustainability
-
Integrate environmental sustainability with existing campus programs in education, research, operations, and public service
