Ashley's academic background enables a research-focused approach to sustainability efforts. She specializes in Python data wrangling, statistical inference, and data visualization to inform climate action strategies. Ashley bridges working relationships with the academic community by advising interns and students on climate resilience projects and she supervises the Electrify Cal course taught within the Energy and Resources Group. Additionally, she is contributing to the exploration and development of a Living Laboratory connected to UC Berkeley's Clean Energy Campus initiative. Ashley holds a BS in Biology from The University of New Mexico and a PhD in Biomechanics from the Department of Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley.
