The Office of Sustainability is looking for (two) undergraduate facilitators for the Berkeley Clean Energy Campus DeCal and program for the 2024-2025 school year.
These positions will be a combination of earning acadmic credit as the course facilitator and paid fellowship work with the Office of Sustainability.
Job Duties:
Facilitator - Academic Credit (1-2 semester units): approximately three to four hours a week in fall and possibly spring semester.

Assist in the development and refinement of course curriculum and materials

Collaborate with instructors and other facilitators to coordinate course logistics

Advertise and market both the DeCal and Clean Energy Campus Project to students across all majors

Instruct DeCal for the Fall semester
Fellow - Paid (work beyond facilitating the course); approximately two to three hours a week

Training on the Clean Energy Campus Project

Support other and joint student events focusing on the Clean Energy Campus Project

Update Office of Sustainability Clean Energy Campus Project information and DeCal information
We seek a candidate who is enthusiastic, adaptable to acquiring new skills, proactive, and adept at assuming responsibilities. Job requirements include:

Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley

Facilitator must have a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA and be in good academic standing

Facilitator may only facilitate 1 course per semester

Must have a strong interest in sustainability, energy resiliency, and other renewable energy issues as well as strong research and writing skills

Must be able to work at least 5-7 hours per week

Must be open to public speaking and facilitating meetings

Be responsive and timely in communication
