Danner Doud-Martin serves in a dual leadership capacity at the University of California, Berkeley, driving systemic climate action across both the Haas School of Business and the broader campus ecosystem. As the new Program Manager for the UC Berkeley Living Lab Program pilot, Danner will bridge the gap between academic research and campus operations. She will facilitate the co-production of knowledge among students, faculty, and staff, utilizing Berkeley’s infrastructure—most notably the Berkeley Clean Energy Campus transition—as an iterative testing ground for scalable, fossil-free solutions.
Simultaneously, as the Director of Haas Campus Sustainability, Danner leads the integration of sustainable operations within a world-class business school. She spearheaded the Chou Hall Zero Waste Initiative, which achieved the first platinum TRUE Zero Waste certification for a business school globally.
Deeply committed to the UC sustainability ecosystem, Danner sits on multiple campus and University of California Office of the President (UCOP) working groups, including on the Berkeley Staff Assembly General Council, the Campus Advisory Committee for Sustainability and the Single-Use Plastic Elimination task force. She also serves as a board member for Re:Wild Your Campus and is an active contributor to the Haas Anti-Racist Challenge.
