Alina is a 4th year studying Global Environmental Politics. She is passionate about raising environmental awareness, safeguarding vulnerable populations, and working on decarbonization strategies. She is also a Bonnie Reiss Fellow through the UC Office of the President. Outside of the Office of Sustainability, she co-facilitates the Electrify Cal DeCal and is the President of Berkeley's Environmental Economics and Policy Society, hoping to bridge the gap between environmental research and effective policy implementation. Maddie Chesebro is a third year studying Environmental Economics and Policy and Public Policy. She is passionate about environmental policy, especially in the realms of anti-oil drilling and decarbonization strategies. Keshwanth Puligulla is a fourth-year Environmental Economics and Policy and Data Science double major. He is passionate about preserving our environment and loves exploring the vast nuances to solving the climate crisis, whether it be through energy, policy, or economics. Bella Nejad is a fourth-year Conservation and Resource Studies major with a minor in Geographic Information Systems and Technology. Her area of interest is in Sustainability and Environmental Management, with particular emphasis in environmental planning, policy, and using data/mapping to support natural resource management and climate solutions. Angela Gil is a master’s student studying Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Climate in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. She has a background in zero waste programming and is excited to be a part of the Green Labs program, where she is helping to track the program’s impact and supporting the Green Labs Associates. She is passionate about equitable and adaptive infrastructure, and is excited to learn more about energy efficiency measures for labs. Outside of work and school, she loves to dance salsa, go on hikes, and try new foods.
