Saving energy can come with great comfort

Energy efficiency may be the answer to reducing our electricity consumption and combating climate change, especially when it can be achieved without sacrificing consumers’ comfort and convenience. California’s Energy Commission approved $1.9-million in funding to a research team, led by UC Berkeley’s Center for the Built Environment to integrate commercially-available smart ceiling fans and thermostats in under-served and low-income families in California.
