Alina is a 4th year studying Global Environmental Politics. She is passionate about raising environmental awareness, safeguarding vulnerable populations, and working on decarbonization strategies. She is also a Bonnie Reiss Fellow through the UC Office of the President. Outside of the Office of Sustainability, she co-facilitates the Electrify Cal DeCal and is the President of Berkeley's Environmental Economics and Policy Society, hoping to bridge the gap between environmental research and effective policy implementation. Maddie Chesebro is a third year studying Environmental Economics and Policy and Public Policy. She is passionate about environmental policy, especially in the realms of anti-oil drilling and decarbonization strategies.
