UC Berkeley Currently Searching for a Director of Campus Sustainability
UC Berkeley is searching for an applicant to fill the newly formed position: Director of Campus Sustainability. This position is another step toward achieving the campus' long term sustainability goals, fostering a culture of sustainability among all sectors of the University, and integrating sustainability into the curriculum. The Director will report to the Vice Chancellor-Administration, work closely with the Director- Environment, Health & Safety, the EH&S Environmental Protection Team, and supervise one Sustainability Specialist along with student interns. City of Oakland is Looking for a Part Time Engineering Intern
The City of Oakland's Transportation Services Division (TSD) is seeking to fill a part-time Engineering Intern position in the Bicycle and Pedestrian Program. This unique internship will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to practice and perfect the technical skills needed for a career in the growing field of bicycle transportation design and engineering. The intern will play an integral role in accomplishing the objectives of Oakland's recently updated Bicycle Master Plan and will work as a core member of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Program team, with support from other TSD engineers. AutoCAD skills and knowledge of basic civil engineering principles, practices and terminology are required.
