Contra Costa County Green Business Program Summer Intern Position
The Contra Costa County Green Business Program (located in Martinez, CA;
www.greenbiz.ca.gov) is looking for a summer intern to start as soon as
possible that would assist with pollution prevention audits of businesses
that have applied to the program. The goal of these audits would be to
assist businesses in reducing the toxicity of products and practices used;
training would be provided for this. The intern would assist in the
administrative aspects of the program as well, under direction of the
program manager. The job will include calling businesses and other agency
staff, and responding to businesses contacting the program. A car and
valid drivers license would be needed for the job (mileage would be
reimbursed). The wage will range between $12.29 and $15.35 per hour, and
will depend on education and experience. Resumes should be sent to Robin
